What is Sappy?
Sappy is a coconut sugar syrup. Our Toasted Vanilla Bean flavor is made by steeping real vanilla bean into every batch of coconut sugar syrup. It's made for coffee, matcha, lattes, and everyday drizzles.
Does it taste like coconut?
No. Coconut sugar comes from the sap of coconut palm blossoms, not the coconut itself. It tastes deep, toasty, and almost caramel-like, with no coconut flavor and no fake-sweetener aftertaste.
Does it dissolve in iced drinks?
Yes. Sappy is a syrup, so it mixes into hot or iced drinks with no clumping, unlike granulated sugar in cold coffee.
How much should I use?
Most of our latte recipes start with about 2 tablespoons per drink. Start there and adjust to taste. Browse the Sappy recipes for ideas.
What can I use it in besides coffee?
Matcha, tea, mocktails and cocktails, oats, yogurt, pancakes, toast, fruit, ice cream, baked goods, and yes, popcorn.
Does Sappy contain artificial sweeteners, colors, or flavors?
No. Sappy is sweetened with coconut sugar and flavored with real vanilla bean. Nothing artificial.
What is your return policy?
Because our syrups are perishable goods, they aren't returnable. If your order arrives damaged or defective, or you receive the wrong item, email hello@getsappy.com right away and we'll make it right. See our full refund policy.
